Ocean Cliff – Newport, RI

This has been the summer of DJing weddings at beautiful weddings with awesome views.
Ocean Cliff not only is a lovely place to get married, but the staff there was very professional and able to very quickly change plans when the weather outside was not cooperating and move everything inside to make it just as scenic and romantic as outside would have been. Dave and Jenn were married in a nice ceremony with the ocean in the background and a light rain falling outside.
After the cocktail hour, they entered into the reception with a bang. Jenn got her fix of U2 with “Beautiful Day” playing for the bridal party (even Tyler danced a little coming into the room – but you know it had to irk him just a little that they were playing the theme song for the Patriots first Super Bowl win [die hard Ravens fan]) And then Dave got a tribute to the Bruins when the bride & groom entered to “Zombie Nation”
They shared their first married dance to Michael Buble’s “Everything” (Aren’t they a beautiful couple!?)
The two toasts were delivered by Jenn’s sister Maureen Nealon (who also had an incredible DJ at her wedding!) and stand-up comedian Brendan McIntyre.

We only had about 2 hours left of party in the reception hall – so we got right to it. Sure it was a daytime wedding, but people still had a great time.
Afterwards, the party moved to the outside deck. Luckily the rain was over and the rest of the day was just perfect.
Everyone watched the sunset and then left with a smile on their faces. Great wedding.
